The whole Canadian Cheese thing.

First of all I LOVE THE CHEESE LOGO, I think it is brilliant and I am completely jealous that I didn't think of it first.

I know some of the commercials are kind of cheesy.
Especially where the whole family brakes out in song because they want cheese on their food.

Anyways, I do love all the print ads and banners I see and some of the commercials.
I honestly believe that they have done a really good job.

allyouneedischeese.ca

is the web page, and it is fantastic.
It's kind of corny, but it makes you laugh at its ridiculousness, and that is a good thing.

The web site features a Broadway light display for each day of the week, and allows you to choose which star (vegetable) you want to accompany the Great Canadian cheese on stage. After you have chosen, you move forward and they sing for a moment and then show you recipes that include both of those foods.

I think all the time that went into to giving each food a specific voice and making the food dance was well worth it.

The web page is fantastic, in its own cheesy way.

The whole campaign is fantastic.

They also produce a monthly podcast where the host, Ian Jones, interviews cheese lovers, artisanal cheese makers, restaurant owners and visits epicurean events. He’s already helped me discover some amazing new cheeses (Dragon’s Breath Blue from Nova Scotia is particularly good) and great cheese websites. Each show has it’s own archive page recipes, tourist info, blog links, etc.

If you love good cheese, you have to check out the All You Need is Cheese Podcast:

There's also a contest going on this month. The prize is an iPod touch:
